Alex Charles Whitman was one of the last humans to know the truth of the aliens. Best friends with Liz and Maria for a very long time, at first when they hid the secret from him he was angry. He didn't know what was going on and it was killing him. Secretly, he has had a crush on the female alien Isabel Evans. Later, when he is told of the truth, Alex and Isabel begin to date. Their love is very sweet and innocent. Alex sometimes secretly feels inadequate to the "Elle McPherson of the sophomore class". He has a garage band called the Whits. His favorite sport is dodge ball...lol He uses his humor to mask his insecurities especially with girls. No one can take away though that he is an extremely good person and is a good friend to Liz and Maria. Alex has accepted Isabel's destiny but will be waiting for her when she needs him.
