Tess Harding, played by actress Emilie De Ravin, is one of the alien hybrids considered to be one of the Royal Four. Tess is Max Evans bride, although shunned for Liz Parker in this lifetime. After being killed during the invasion, her alien DNA was mixed with human DNA, and she was sent
to Earth to be raised and to discover the full potential of the human brain, where her powers come from, in order to defeat the Skins and reclaim her home world. It was during this mission to Earth where the ship carrying her and the others crashed in Rowell, NM. After being picked up the by Army and saved by Capt. Hal Carver, the remaining two aliens who survived the crash, including Nasedo buried the pods. There Tess would grow from a human fetus into a six year old and remain in stasis, until something woke her up in 1990, where three would emerge from the pods. The others wandered to the road Max and Isabel would be picked up by Philip and Diane Evans, who would adopt and raise them, while Michael would be picked up later by Hank Geurrin, who only kept him around for the check. Tess was left behind, where Nasedo picked her up and raised her. He was able to show her alot of her powers and abilities, including memory retrieval, where she "remembers" the love she had with Max. Tess's powers include, but are not limited to the following: -Changing the structure at the molecular level. -Illusion projection (cannot be sustained for long periods). -Enhances Max's power to shield. |
